In Los Angeles, January 4th<\/sup> was proclaimed \u201cDay of The Doors,\u201d <\/strong><\/a>to celebrate and remember the impact they made on rock music. If we can honor The Doors<\/em>, why not honor doors<\/strong> themselves since they are the most used moving part in every building and deserve recognition too?<\/p>\n

In commercial buildings, a door isn\u2019t just a slab of material that swings open and shut. It is a full system that is often referred to as an opening that manages access, protects people, and helps a business run smoothly. One of the easiest things to overlook is that doors have an impact on almost everyone. If an opening is effective, then it reduces risk and helps keep people safe. If an opening is ineffective, it can fail at any given moment, causing an emergency or a maintenance issue.\"\"<\/p>\n

At Anderson Lock, doors aren\u2019t \u201cjust doors.\u201d We have built our business on opening doors and security futures. Our business can help with project support by reading blueprints, fabrication<\/a>, supplying custom doors<\/a>, installation, and ongoing service as needed. If \u201cThe Day of the Doors\u201d had a headquarters, it would be our Door Division in Elk Grove<\/a>. It is a 67,000 square-foot warehouse for all of our commercial door supply and custom fabrication needs. Our goal is simple: security, safety, and consistency.<\/p>\n
